Our Story

Benova Healthcare is located in the beautiful city of Wuzhen – a 2,000 year old scenic town south of the Yangtze river, affectionately known as ‘The Venice of China’. The idea of forming Benova was conceived in 2018 by a small team of professionals with extensive knowledge of the VMS industry. They saw an opening for a high specification production site that could offer premium quality products at competitive prices. Funding was secured and construction of a brand new facility commenced, with the doors opening in 2019.

Capacity

Benova Healthcare’s manufacturing facility currently has an annual capacity of 2 billion tablets and 1 billion hard capsules, plus ample capacity for the production of effervescents, gummies and powder blending. It is equipped with the latest technology for granulation, blending, tablet pressing and encapsulation. All the machinery is new and was purchased for the opening of the facility in 2019.

Facilities

Benova Healthcare’s 3,000m² site provides extensive warehousing plus 12 suites covering weighing in, blending, granulation, tabletting, coating, encapsulation, powder mixing and packaging. On site there is a dedicated laboratory with full testing capabilities such as HPLC, atomic spectrum, physical, chemical and microbiological analysis. This ensures the reliability of raw materials and the accuracy of data monitoring (quality and safety) of finished products.

GUOQIANG WANG

Guoqiang’s background is in the manufacture and supply of raw materials and in particular vitamins and minerals. He owns and operates Weishi Biotec and WECAN and in these roles he has gained a wealth of experience in powder granulation and microencapsulation. This has proved invaluable in tablet and powder production at Benova.

Mark Steinmann

Mark is well known throughout the VMS industry in the EU, where he has worked for over 25 years in management roles. He is driven by a desire to achieve mutual success for both Benova and his customers. He is quick to identify new opportunities and present them to customers for a win/win situation.

Barry Zhou

Barry’s background is in manufacturing and raw materials supply, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the production and quality control/assurance side of the business. He is constantly striving to achieve higher standards and welcomes the opportunity to show off Benova’s facilities to new customers.
